MBTI Types

What Is MBTI?

MBTI is like astrology, but more based on fact and results than stereotypes and predictions. MBTI stands for Myers-Briggs Type indicator. In MBTI there can be a ton of results, exactly 16. You can be introverted or extroverted, you can go through problems by thinking or feeling, or you could be somewhere in between.

MIND-I or E?

I stands for introverted and E stands for Extroverted, but what do they mean?

Introverts prefer to be alone, they don’t like too much social interaction, but that doesn’t mean that they won’t talk at all. Instead they’ll be shy and sensitive until they feel comfortable around you or others. Don’t push introverts, they go at their own pace.

Extroverts are the opposite; they are loud, outgoing, and social. They prefer to be around people and get lonely easily. They are more enthusiastic and energetic and excited than most introverts. Although extroverts prefer to be out in social gathering and around people, they get tired too and need alone time as well. Just not as often.

ENERGY-N or S?

N stands for Intuitive, and S stands for Sensing (or observant).

Intuitive people are creative and imaginative, they are open-minded and curious, they focus on things others wouldn’t and what might not be practical. Intuitive people focus on the bigger picture, and then the smaller details, but they might have trouble connecting thoughts with what they do. They follow their intuition.

Sensing people focus on what’s going on around them, logic and facts. They are pragmatic, they start with the fact and then move on to the big picture, they look for the bottom line. Sensing people down to earth, they go with their own experiences rather than what they are told. But sometimes they pay to much attention to the facts that they miss opportunities.

NATURE-T or F?

T stands for thinking, and F stands for feeling.

Thinking, do you prioritize logic over emotions? Do you think truth is more important than tactfulness? Do you hide your feelings? Do you think efficiency is more important than getting along? Than you use you head instead of you heart, you look to fair solutions before anything else. You may seem too task-oriented, uncaring, or indifferent, but you are more resourceful than those who go with their gut feeling.

Unlike their feeling companions, people who think are sensitive and emotionally expressive, they go with their gut feeling and follow empathy rather than what’s better logically. They are less competitive and are more harmonious. People who feel are more concerned with how other feel and are compassionate, tactful, and communicative. Some people see people who feel as idealistic, mushy, or indirect, but you make sure everyone is happy and okay.

TACTICS-J or P?

J stands for judging, and P stands for perceiving.

Judging may sound like a harsh word to use, but it means that you are more organized and task oriented than those who are perceive. They value clarity, predictability and closure, preferring structure and planning to spontaneity, they also like to make lists. Work comes before play, and planing comes before working. Everything in a judging persons life has a place and a order, but sometimes focus on the goal can result in missing new information.

Perceiving people are laid-back, flexible, relaxed, and good at improvising. They are open minded, loose and casual, plans burn out them out too easily and would rather work in bursts of energy. Work and play can mean the same thing to a perceiving person, but they would rather play than work. But if you’re open to everything, how do you know what to trust? Deadlines are missed and information is mistaken, perceiving people have to be careful for how much they are loose or laid back or they might miss things.

Notes:

Do you not relate to any of these? Or do you feel in between? Some people are ambivalent, a mix of introvert and extrovert, just like some people are 78% introvert while others are 34% introvert. And you may have one strong personality aspect and the others are weaker, it all depends.

What Is MBTI?

What Is Astrology?

Astrology is the study of the stars, constellations, and the positions of said stars. People also believe that Astrology can control your personality. The Zodiac signs are a part of astrology, they are the stars that align with the equator. So if you were born between March 21st and April 20th, then you would be an Aries because the constellation, Aries, is lined up with the equator.

I do acknowledged the Chinese Zodiac, but I will not normally blog about it.

The Signs:

Aries: The Ram

Born between March 21st and April 20th. A cardinal fire sign.

Taurus: The Bull

Born between April 21th and May 21th. A fixed earth sign.

Cardinal signs start the season, they create.

Fixed Signs:

Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.

Words used to describe fixed signs: stubborn, stable, steadfast, loyal.

Fixed signs continue the season, they maintain.

Mutable Signs:

Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces.

Words used to describe mutable signs: adaptable, flexible, adjustable, changeable.

Mutable signs end the season, they destroy.

Notes:

If you feel like you don’t fit the description of your sign, then you may have a different dominant sign. Which brings up the topic of moon, rising, mars, venus (ect.) signs. Depending on where you were born and when you were born decides the rest of your chart. I will talk more about different dominant signs later along with moon and rising signs.

Don’t worry if your sign is a mutable sign (when it says destroy), it doesn’t mean you are a destroyer, it means you are “destroying” the season.
